I am a husband to my amazing wife Mera, father to 2 incredible kids, a huge college football fan (WE ARE PENN STATE!) and an outdoorsman. I moved to Colorado in 2010 to rock climb, backpack, kayak, and hike.

In 2017 my wife and I took sabbaticals and spent 6 months traveling through China and Southeast Asia. The immersion in other cultures was life changing! When our kids are older we hope to take them to as many countries as possible.

I’ve spent most of my life in HVAC. My father worked for a residential / light commercial contractor. He got me my glamorous start as a sheet metal shop hand wrestling insulation and wrapping ductwork. After high school I completed an apprenticeship and worked in commercial HVAC.

In 2008 I went to Penn State and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business. I did my degree in 3 years by going full time in the summer. After college I got into commercial design build sales and spent the next 12+ years in sales and sales management within the HVAC Business.

Since 2021 I’ve been a recruiter in the HVAC industry where my intimate knowledge of the industry helped me connect with candidates and advise company owners.

When I’m not working, I’m with my family. I love being a father and watching my little ones (7 month old & 3 year old) grow and learn.

Last year I started creating content on LinkedIn. My goal has been to focus on value add content – sales tips, best practices, ways to retain talent, or hiring strategies.

The most valuable thing I’ve learned in the last year is to focus only on what I have control of.
