Role: Territory Sales Manager

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Compensation:  3 year guarantee then glide to 100% commission

About the Role: This role is with a distributor with a robust line card of residential, commercial and applied equipment along with other parts, accessories, and sheet metal. You will be calling on contractors with a value add approach. Beating competitors requires creative thinking, ability to overcome objections, confidence, and hard work.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • ​Regularly engage with customers, addressing their needs and proactively offering customized solutions.
  • Prospect new accounts and drive new meetings.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, clearly demonstrating product and service benefits.
  • Identify new sales opportunities through market and competitive research.
  • Facilitate educational sessions on product benefits and effective sales strategies.
  • Evaluate competitor activities and industry trends, adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Attend industry events, networking opportunities, and trade shows to strengthen customer relations and uncover new leads.
  • Track, analyze, and report on sales outcomes based on set performance indicators.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Business, Marketing or a related field OR sales experience with HVAC background
  • 2 years industry experience 
  • 2 years of previous sales experience
