OEM Regional Sales Manager – Northeast
Location: Anywhere in DE, PA, NJ, NY, CT, or MA | Heavy Preference for Greater Philadelphia and NYC Metro
Compensation: $140k–$150k base with $40k–$120k bonus based on regional performance
About the Role
As a Regional Sales Manager, you’ll drive business growth by developing and supporting a network of independent sales representatives across a defined territory. You’ll lead initiatives to improve rep performance, elevate technical engagement, and execute strategic plans aligned with company goals. This high-impact role comes with significant autonomy and visibility, reporting directly to the executive team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own overall sales responsibility for your designated region
- Drive growth in the applied air handler segment
- Develop and execute an annual sales plan aligned with company-wide objectives
- Recruit and mentor independent reps to expand market presence
- Increase product awareness with consulting engineers and project specifiers
- Promote solutions to installing contractors and help drive basis-of-design wins
- Monitor customer and competitor activity to identify strategic opportunities
- Work with Sales Application Engineers to ensure accurate quotes and submittals
- Track and pursue project opportunities, collaborating with internal teams to support reps
- Act as a resource for technical questions and product application support
- Partner with operations, sourcing, and engineering to align sales with delivery
About You
- Proven experience managing a region with +$20M in annual revenue
- Applied equipment experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record of closing business
- Confident presenting to both small and large audiences
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM tools
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage competing priorities
- Excellent relationship-building and problem-solving skills
- Willing to travel up to 60%
