About the Role:
We’re looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager to join our team, focusing on growing service offerings within the commercial HVAC sector. Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll play a key role in identifying new maintenance opportunities, forging relationships with decision-makers, and shaping the company’s market presence.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Prospect and qualify new commercial maintenance clients in the Houston market.
- Cold call & cold email to set initial meeting
- Qualify/Disqualify prospects during the first meeting
- Conduct site surveys to develop proposals
- Finish and close sales process with qualified propects
- Conduct weekly meetings with prospects to understand facility needs and build trust.
- Engage stakeholders across all levels—from Maintenance Managers to Senior Executives.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop content and campaigns that drive visibility.
- Present strategies for commercial market penetration and track funnel performance weekly.
- Partner with Sales Support to produce accurate proposals and agreements.
- Align closely with Operations to evaluate opportunities and ensure seamless onboarding.
- Lead financial discussions that connect service offerings to customer ROI and Total Cost of Ownership.
About You:
- 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience—ideally in HVAC, building systems, or facility services.
- Strong understanding of commercial environments and behind-the-gates operations.
- Skilled in communicating value through asset management and predictive maintenance insights.
- Comfortable speaking with executive-level decision makers.
- Self-motivated, curious, and organized—with a knack for learning fast and thinking strategically.
- Solid command of MS Office tools and CRM platforms.
- Able to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
