Job Title: Director of HVAC Projects

Location:

• Preferred: Headquarters in Smyrna, GA
• Alternative Locations: Buford, Dalton, LaGrange, or Macon (GA), Birmingham (AL), Charlotte or Raleigh (NC), Columbia or Greenville (SC)

Compensation: Base of 150k-170k with 25% bonus

About the Role: As the Director of HVAC Projects, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing HVAC project operations, ensuring efficient execution and driving business outcomes. This role involves overseeing project teams, streamlining processes, and fostering a high-performance culture.

About You:

• You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the HVAC industry.
• You bring progressive leadership experience in facilities services or the construction industry.
• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• You possess excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• You are an effective communicator, capable of engaging at all business levels.
• You have a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• You have experience managing budgets, KPIs, and driving operational efficiency.
• You prioritize safety and create a culture of accountability and high standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Providing direct oversight of project operations, including Field Installation Mechanics, Plumbing Division, operations leaders, and warehouse operations.
• Developing and implementing KPIs to drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Establishing and maintaining customer satisfaction metrics to recognize team performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Leading the development of safety, quality assurance, and quality control processes.
• Overseeing estimating and review processes to ensure accurate project planning and budgeting.
• Promoting a culture of collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and operational efficiency.
• Partnering with Human Resources to drive recruitment, retention, and professional development strategies.
• Creating and executing an annual training plan for field and office personnel.
• Managing department budgets and implementing strategies to optimize margins and profitability.
• Coordinating with sales teams to develop and execute strategic growth initiatives.
• Partnering with service teams to promote cross-functional collaboration and enhance overall business performance.
