Job Title: Account Executive

Compensation: 90-120k Base + commission for a 190k OTE
Location: New York, NY | Hybrid with 3 days in-office
About the Role: As the first sales hire, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by selling cutting-edge order-to-cash technology to commercial HVAC service providers. This role requires end-to-end sales ownership, from prospecting to closing and ensuring customer satisfaction post-onboarding. Given the startup environment, success will require perseverance, creativity, and a strategic approach to building and refining the sales process. You’ll collaborate closely with the co-founders and leadership team to shape the company’s first go-to-market motion, contribute to product positioning, and make key decisions about the sales strategy and tech stack. Additionally, you’ll serve as the voice of the customer to guide product development and market fit.
This role is ideal for a scrappy, high-energy, and self-motivated sales professional who enjoys building from the ground up, influencing GTM strategy, and most importantly, delivering on revenue to drive company success.
About You:
- 5+ years of sales or business development experience, including experience selling into commercial HVAC or field service providers.
- Proven ability to build and manage a sales pipeline, develop customer relationships, and close deals.
- Passionate about understanding customer needs and providing actionable ‘voice of the customer’ feedback to the Product & Engineering team.
- Thrives in a startup environment, where adaptability and problem-solving are key.
- Strong technical understanding of integrations, AI solutions, and automation technology, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to customers.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive approach to driving business growth.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, ensuring seamless customer onboarding.
- Identify and research potential customers, industry trends, and market opportunities to develop targeted outreach strategies.
- Engage with customers to understand their business challenges and align our solution to their needs.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying upsell opportunities.
- Track sales performance metrics, forecast results, and provide regular updates to the leadership team.
- Travel to meet with customers, prospects, and attend trade shows and industry events.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and key market engagements.
